Amazing, after all these years it seems the Vermeer and some Gardner art held in Ireland have returned to Bare Island Bantry Bay.
It was in 2002 Art Hostage first tracked the Vermeer and some Gardner art to Bare Island Bantry Bay, scene of an IRA arms dump. This was the resting place for the Vermeer before it travelled to Dublin.
Now it seems the Vermeer has come full circle and is now back on Bare Island Bantry Bay awaiting collection.

Stashed close to Bantry Bay House, in a cottage on the estate to be specific.

No more running, Whitey Bulger is waiting with the Gardner art, Vermeer in his hidaway cottage on the estate of Bantry Bay House.
